Para protegerse contra electrocución, no sumerja los controles o cables en agua ni ningún otro líquido. 4. Mantenga la vigilancia si el aparato se utiliza cerca de niños. 5. Desenchúfelo de la toma de corriente cuando no esté en uso y antes de proceder a su limpieza. Deje que se enfríe por completo antes de tocar o manipular el aparato. 6. No utilice el aparato si no funciona correctamente o se ha dañado de cualquier manera. Lleve el aparato al servicio técnico postventa para su examen, reparación, o ajuste eléctrico o mecánico. 7. Cuando utilice prolongadores de cable, preste especial atención para evitar tropiezos o causar lesiones. 8. No utilice la plancha de asar al aire libre si no es en una zona a cubierto de lluvía o salpicaduras de agua. 9. No permita que cuelgue el cable por el borde de la mesa ni que toque las superficies calientes. 10. No coloque la plancha de asar cerca de salidas de gas, ni superficies calientes ni cerca de un quemador eléctrico o de un horno caliente. 11. Es recomendable que este aparato no sea movido cuando contiene aceite caliente o grasas. 12. Conecte siempre primero el panel de mandos a la plancha de asar y a continuación el otro extremo del cable a la toma de corriente de la pared. Para desconectarlo, apague el termostato y quite el enchufe de la toma de corriente. 13. No use el aparato para otra cosa que no sea el uso para el que está destinado. 14. Si el cable de corriente está dañado, deberá ser sustituido por el fabricante, su servicio técnico autorizado o por un técnico cualificado, con tal de evitar un peligro. 15. Sólo utilizar este aparato con este tipo de toma móvil suministrada (termostato móvil). 16. No utilizar carbón de madera o combustible similar con este aparato. 17. El aparato debe secarse después de su limpieza y antes de usarlo de nuevo. 18. Este producto no está permitido para uso infantil u otras personas sin asistencia o supervisión si su estado físico, sensorial o mental le limita de usarlo con seguridad. GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES ESTE PRODUCTO ES SOLO PARA USO DOMÉSTICO MODO DE USO Antes de utilizarlo por primera vez, familiarícese con los rasgos de su plancha de asar. Lave la plancha en el lavaplatos o en agua jabonosa templada, enjuáguela, y séquela. No sumerja nunca el mando de control ni permita que entre en contacto con ningún líquido. "Engrase" la superficie de la plancha frotando ligeramente con aceite de cocina. Quite el aceite en exceso con un papel absorbente. 1. Coloque la plancha de asar en una superficie seca y nivelada. 2. Inserte firmemente el mando de control en el aparato. Asegúrese de que el mando se insertó correctamente. Conecte el extremo opuesto del cable al enchufe de la toma de corriente. 3. Gire el termostato de temperatura al valor deseado de calor. La luz del piloto se apagará cuando la temperatura asignada sea alcanzada. 4. Prepare los alimentos a cocinar. La plancha de asar ofrece un acabado que permite cocinar casi sin aceite. 4 5. 6. 7. Coloque los alimentos sobre la plancha de asar y cocine a su gusto. El calor debe ajustarse según la preferencia personal y los alimentos a cocinar. Apague el termostato cuando acabe de asar. Desenchufe el cable de la toma de corriente de la pared y del aparato. Déjelo enfriar antes de manipular el cajón recogegrasas. Cuando ase alimentos que desprendan grasas, desplace hacia afuera las asas para inclinar la superficie de la plancha (Fig. A) así el exceso de grasa caerá en el cajón inferior. Cuando prepare otros alimentos, como huevos o creps, asegúrese que las asas están cerradas y la plancha a nivel. Se suministra un cable de longitud corta para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o tropezar. Pueden usarse alargadores si el cuidado es extremo. Si utilizara un alargador, este debe poder soportar igual o superior potencia eléctrica a la de la plancha de asar. El alargador debe colocarse de manera que no sea cubierto con tejidos ni donde sea accesible por niños o exista peligro de tropezarse. CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA - Antes de su primer uso y después de cada uso, lave la plancha de asar en agua jabonosa templada, enjuague, y seque. No sumerja el mando de control en agua ni permita que entre en contacto con ningún líquido. - Utilice utensilios de plástico o madera para manipular los alimentos sobre la plancha. No use utensilios de metal ya que pueden rallar la superficie antiadherente de la plancha. No corte alimentos sobre la superficie de asado. - Si hay cualquier residuo de comida que permanece en la superficie de asado o en la base de la plancha de asar, debe quitarse fregando con un estropajo muy suave o un papel absorbente. No use estropajos de aluminio o limpiadores de cocina abrasivos. - Con el tiempo, el acabado antiadherente de la plancha puede oscurecerse debido al calor y a los alimentos cocinados aunque no afecta en absoluto al buen funcionamiento de su plancha de asar. Para quitar este descoloramiento, use un limpiador diseñado para limpiar superficies. - Después de ser tratada la superficie antiadherente con algún limpiador, humedezca ligeramente la superficie de la plancha con aceite de cocina antes de su nuevo uso. - Para limpiar las demás partes de su plancha de asar, simplemente limpie salpicaduras y gotas de grasa cuando estos ocurran. Cualquier resto de residuo de comida puede quitarse con una esponja o estropajo suave. Always connect first the control panel to the grill and then the other end of the cord to the wall socket. To unplug, turn off the control panel and then pull the plug out of the socket. 13. Only use the device for its intended purpose. 14. If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized technical service or by a qualified technician in order to avoid hazards. 15. Only use this device with the removable socket supplied (removable thermostat). 16. Do not use charcoal or any similar fuel with this device. 17. Dry the device after cleaning and before reusing. 18. KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS THIS PRODUCT IS FOR DOMESTIC USE ONLY DIRECTIONS FOR USE Before using for the first time, familiarize yourself with the features of your grill. Wash the grill in the dishwasher or in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry. Never immerse the control panel or allow it to come into contact with any liquid. "Grease" the plate surface by rubbing it lightly with cooking oil. Remove the excess oil with a paper towel. 1. Place the grill on a dry, level surface. 2. Insert firmly the control panel into the device. Make sure that the control is inserted correctly. Plug the other end of the power cord in the mains socket. 3. Turn the temperature thermostat to the desired heat setting. The lamp will turn off when the temperature reaches the setting. 4. Prepare the food to be cooked. The plate finish allows you to cook with virtually no oil. 5. Place the food on the grill and cook to your taste. The heat should be adjusted to your personal preference and the food to be cooked. 6. Turn off the thermostat after using. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket and from the device. Leave to cool before handling the grease collection drawer. 6 7. When removing greasy food, pull the handles outwards to tilt the plate surface (Fig. A). This will cause the excess grease to flow into the bottom tray. When preparing other foods, such as eggs or crepes, make sure that the handles are pushed in and the plate is level. A short power cord is supplied in order to reduce the risk of getting tangled or tripping. You can use extension cables if you take suitable precautions. If you use an extension cable, this must have a capacity that is equal or greater than the grill's power rating. The extension cable should be placed so that it is not covered by fabrics or in a place that is accessible to children or where there is a risk of tripping. CARE AND CLEANING - Before using for the first time and after each use, wash the grill in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry. Do not immerse the control panel in water or allow it to come into contact with any liquid. - Use plastic or wood utensils to manipulate food on the plate. Do not use metal utensils as these may scratch the plate's non-stick surface. Do not cut food on the grilling surface. - If there are any remains of food on the grilling surface or on the grill bottom, remove by rubbing gently with a very soft cleaning pad or with a kitchen towel.
