INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD Lea las instrucciones antes de su uso. - Antes de conectar el hervidor a la fuente de alimentación, compruebe que el voltaje que se indica en el aparato (en la parte inferior del hervidor) es el mismo que el de su casa. En caso de que no lo fuera, póngase en contacto con su distribuidor y no utilice el aparato. - La base eléctrica no se puede usar para otros fines que no sean para los que está destinado. - No ponga en funcionamiento el aparato cuando esté vacío para evitar que los elementos térmicos se dañen. - Desenchúfelo de la toma eléctrica cuando no se esté usando. - No deje que el cable cuelgue por el borde de la mesa ni que toque la superficie caliente. - No lo coloque encima ni cerca de un quemador caliente de gas o eléctrico ni cerca de un horno caliente. - En caso de que por accidente haya puesto el hervidor en funcionamiento sin agua en su interior, la protección de sobrecalentamiento lo apagará automáticamente. Si esto ocurriera, deje enfriar el hervidor antes de llenarlo con agua fría y volverlo a poner a hervir. - Asegúrese de utilizar el aparato en una superficie firme y plana que los niños no puedan tocar, de esta forma evitará que el hervidor pueda volcarse y estropearse o dañar a alguien. - Como medida de protección contra el fuego, descargas eléctricas o daños personales, no sumerja el aparato, ni el cable, ni los enchufes eléctricos en agua ni en otro tipo de líquido. - Tenga siempre mucho cuidado cuando vierta el agua hirviendo, hágalo despacio y sin inclinar el hervidor demasiado rápido. - Tenga cuidado al abrir la tapa cuando el hervidor esté caliente. - Extreme la vigilancia cuando se esté utilizando un aparato o haya niños cerca. - No toque la superficie caliente. Utilice el asa o el botón. - Extreme las precauciones cuando mueva un aparato que contenga agua caliente. - El aparato no es un juguete. ANTES DE USAR EL HERVIDOR Si es la primera vez que utiliza el hervidor, se recomienda que lo limpie hirviendo agua en él y luego tirándola. FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL HERVIDOR 1. Para llenar de agua el hervidor, retírelo de la base eléctrica, abra la tapa, presionando el botón de apertura de la tapa, y ponga en su interior la cantidad de agua que desea. Llene el hervidor de agua entre las marcas de mínimo y máximo. Si pone poca agua, el hervidor se apagará antes de que haya hervido. NOTA: el agua no debe sobrepasar el nivel máximo porque puede verterse por la boquilla cuando hierva. Asegúrese de que la tapa esté correctamente en su sitio antes de conectar el cable de corriente al enchufe. . Coloque el hervidor en la base eléctrica. 3. Conecte el enchufe a la toma de corriente eléctrica. Presione el botón interruptor situado debajo del asa. El indicador luminoso azul situado en el interior se enciende. A continuación, el agua comenzará a hervir. El hervidor se apaga automáticamente cuando el agua ha hervido. Cuando el agua está hirviendo, puede desconectarse de la corriente levantando el botón interruptor. No sumerja nunca el hervidor ni el cable en agua, ni deje que la humedad entre en contacto con dichas piezas. ELIMINACIÓN DE LA CAL La cal del agua del grifo puede hacer que el interior del hervidor pierda color. Para eliminar esta formación, utilice un limpiador no tóxico. O también: 1. Llene el hervidor con 3 tazas de vinagre blanco y el resto de agua y déjela reposar toda la noche. No hervir. . Vacíe el hervidor. Cualquier mancha que haya quedado dentro de la boquilla se puede eliminar frotándola con un paño húmedo. Llene el hervidor con agua limpia, póngalo a hervir y tire el agua. Repita esta operación y el hervidor estará listo para volver a usarse. LIMPIEZA DE LA CARCASA Limpie la carcasa con un paño húmedo, no utilice nunca un limpiador químico. LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO No olvide limpiar regularmente el filtro con un paño húmedo. PRECAUCIÓN: No utilice limpiadores químicos para acero ni abrasivos en la parte exterior del hervidor.
