PRIMERA UTILIZACIÓN La primera vez que se utiliza suele oler debido al aceite y los restos de fabricación que quedan en el tostador o la resistencia térmica. Es normal y dejará de producirse después de usarlo varias veces. Antes de tostar la primera rebanada de pan, se recomienda encarecidamente que utilice el aparato de acuerdo con las instrucciones que se indican a continuación. FUNCIONAMIENTO 1. Coloque la rebanada de pan en la ranura para el pan. Nota: Antes de usar, asegúrese de que la bandeja para las migas se encuentra correctamente colocada. . Enchufe el cable de alimentación a la toma de corriente. 3. Coloque el mando de control en el nivel de tostado deseado. Existen 7 niveles de posición: el más bajo es poco tostado y el más alto muy tostado. En la posición «4» la rebanada puede tostarse hasta alcanzar un tono dorado. Nota: Si tuesta pan varias veces seguidas, el tono de tostado de las últimas rebanadas es más oscuro que el de las anteriores en el mismo nivel. 4. Presione hacia abajo y verticalmente la palanca del carro hasta que quede fijado en el lugar y comience a tostar. Una vez se haya tostado el pan hasta alcanzar el nivel de tostado establecido, la palanca del carro saltará automáticamente. Nota: La palanca del carro sólo queda sujeta cuando el aparato está conectado al suministro eléctrico. 5. Durante el proceso de tostado, puede observar el tono de tostado. Si lo desea, puede interrumpir el proceso de tostado pulsando el botón "cancelar" en cualquier momento. 6. 7. Si ha sacado el pan del frigorífico, presione hacia abajo y verticalmente la palanca del carro hasta que quede fijado en el lugar y luego pulse el botón "descongelar" y se encenderá la luz de Descongelar. USING THE BREAD TOASTER FOR THE FIRST TIME The bread toaster may smell the first time that it is used, due to the oil and manufacturing residues that are left in the bread toaster or on the heating element. Before toasting bread for the first time, it is strongly recommended that the appliance is used in accordance with the instructions below. FUNCTIONING 1. Push the carriage lever straight downwards until it stays in place and toasting starts. Once the bread has been toasted to the level set, the carriage lever will spring up automatically. Note: the carriage lever will only stay down when the toaster is plugged in to the mains. 5. While toasting, you can watch the colour of the toast. If you wish, you may interrupt the toasting process, by pressing the "cancel" button at any time. 6. If you have taken the bread out of the freezer, press the carriage lever straight downwards until it stays in position and then press the "defrost" button and the Defrost light will come on. In this way the bread will be toasted until it reaches the desired colour. 6 7 7. If you wish to reheat cold toast, press the carriage lever vertically downwards until it stays in place and then press the "reheat" button and the Reheat light will come on. This sets the appropriate reheating time. The carriage lever will spring up automatically and the reheating process will end. WARNING 1. Before toasting, remove all protective wrapping. . If smoke starts to come out of the bread toaster, press Cancel so that the toaster stops toasting immediately. 3. Avoid toasting food with very liquid ingredients such as butter. 4.
