INSTRUCCIONES GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD - Leer las instrucciones de funcionamiento con atención antes de poner en marcha el aparato y guardarlas incluyendo la garantía, el recibo, y si es posible la caja con el embalaje interior. - El aparato ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para uso privado y para la intención prevista. Este aparato no está especificado para uso comercial. No utilizarlo al aire libre. - Mantenerlo alejado de las fuentes de calor, de la luz directa del sol, de la humedad (nunca sumergirlo en ningún líquido) y de los bordes afilados. No utilizar el aparato con las manos mojadas. Si el aparato está húmedo o mojado, desenchufarlo inmediatamente. No colocarlo dentro del agua. - Durante su limpieza o al colocarlo en otro lugar, apagar el aparato y quitar siempre el enchufe de la toma de corriente (tirar del enchufe, no del cable) si el aparato no está siendo utilizado y desmontar los accesorios adjuntos. - No dejar nunca el aparato sin supervisión. Con el fin de proteger a los niños de los peligros que implican los aparatos eléctricos, asegurarse de que el cable no está colgando y de que los niños no pueden acceder al aparato. - Comprobar el aparato y el cable con regularidad para ver si hay deterioros. Recomendaciones de seguridad especiales para esta máquina: - La cuchilla de esta máquina de cortar fiambre está extremadamente afilada. Le rogamos por tanto manejarla con máxima precaución. Desconectar este aparato antes de cambiar los accesorios o partes que se muevan durante el uso. - Utilice siempre el accesorio suministrado para empujar el embutido hacia la cuchilla, a no ser que el tamaño y la forma de la pieza a cortar no lo permitan. - Situar siempre el aparato sobre una superficie plana. - No cortar comida que sea extremadamente dura, tal como carne congelada o con huesos. - Este aparato debe ser utilizado con la bandeja de recogida de lonchas suministrada y la placa de apoyo colocadas en su posición, si no lo impiden el tamaño y la forma del alimento. UTILIZACIÓN DE LA MÁQUINA Al utilizar la máquina por primera vez: - Limpiar la máquina antes de utilizarla por primera vez, tal como se describe más abajo en el apartado "Limpieza". - Colocar la máquina sobre una superficie de trabajo adecuada. - Abrir el cortafiambres y colocar el carro de corte de tal modo que el gancho de su parte inferior encaje en la ranura de la guía de deslizamiento. Manejo - Ajustar el grosor de corte. - Colocar el fiambre que ha de ser cortado en el carro de corte y empujarlo ligeramente en la dirección de la cuchilla utilizando el empujador. 4 - Introducir el enchufe de la corriente en una toma de potencia de 220-240V~50Hz con contacto de seguridad que haya sido instalada correctamente. Pulsar en primer lugar el interruptor de seguridad (en la parte superior) y mantenerlo pulsado. Después pulsar el interruptor O/I (Marcha/Paro) (en la parte lateral del aparato). Mantenerlo en esta posición. La cuchilla solamente gira cuando se mantienen ambos botones pulsados. Aplicar una ligera presión sobre el carro, de modo que éste se deslice suavemente hacia atrás y hacia delante. Un consejo: Si se desea producir rebanadas muy delgadas, humedecer la cuchilla con un trapo húmedo con el fin de impedir que la comida que se está cortando quede enganchada a la cuchilla. Interruptor de seguridad: Con este interruptor se puede bloquear la máquina de cortar comida. Dentro del botón está situado un tornillo. Si se gira el botón hacia la posición vertical (dirección "bloqueo"), el aparato no puede ser puesto en marcha otra vez. Con el fin de liberar el bloqueo, por favor girar el tornillo hacia la posición horizontal otra vez (en el sentido de las agujas del reloj). Para efectuar este paso, se puede utilizar una moneda. Empujador: Ha de ser colocado sobre el carro con el objeto de empujar el alimento que ha de ser cortado. IMPORTANTE: No utilizar esta máquina durante más de 5 minutos seguidos sin interrupción. Paro: Liberar ambos interruptores. Bandeja integrada: El cortafiambres incluye una bandeja integrada que se encuentra bajo el tablero de corte. Para acceder a la bandeja, retire el carro de corte totalmente hacia la izquierda y tire de ella hacia arriba. LIMPIEZA - Desconectar la máquina de la fuente de potencia. - Limpiar la máquina después de su utilización con un trapo ligeramente humedecido. Después secarla. - El carro y el empujador se pueden limpiar con agua jabonosa. - Con el fin de que la cuchilla pueda ser limpiada fácilmente, se pueden desmontar como se indica a continuación: - Girar 90º hacia la izquierda el bloqueo de la cuchilla y desmontarla cuidadosamente con un guante. No limpiar la cuchilla en agua jabonosa, ya que se eliminarían los lubricantes. Limpiar solamente el borde exterior con un trapo húmedo. Para montar la cuchilla efectuar las operaciones en el orden inverso. USING THE APPLIANCE When using the appliance for the first time: - Clean the appliance before using it for the first time, as described below under "Cleaning". - Place the appliance on a suitable work surface. - Open the meat slicer and place the carriage feeder so that the hook on the bottom fits in the sliding groove. Operation - Adjust the slice thickness. - Place the meat to be cut on the carriage and push it gently towards the blade using the food fence. - Insert the plug in a correctly earthed 220-240V~50Hz socket. - First press and hold the safety switch (on the top). - Then press the O/I (On/Off) switch (on the side of the appliance). Hold in this position. The blade will only turn while both buttons are pressed. 6 - Press lightly on the carriage so that it slides smoothly forwards and backwards. A tip: If you want to cut very thin slices, dampen the blade with a damp cloth in order to prevent the food being sliced from sticking to the blade. Safety switch: This switch can be used to lock the slicer. There is a screw inside the button. If the screw is turned to the perpendicular position ("lock" direction), it will not be possible to start the appliance again. To release the lock, turn the screw until it is horizontal again (turning clockwise). You can use a coin to do this. Food fence: It must be placed on the carriage to push the food to be cut.
