Después de leerlas, por favor, asegúrese de que las coloca en un lugar que sea siempre de fácil acceso para el usuario. Este aparato no está destinado para ser usado por personas (incluidos niños) cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales estén reducidas o carezcan de experiencia o conocimiento, salvo si han tenido supervisión o instrucciones relativas al uso del aparato por una persona responsable de su seguridad. No cargue, use ni guarde el cortapelo en un lugar frío y húmedo, ni en lugares con temperaturas altas. No cargue el cortapelos sin que esté Vd. presente. ADVERTENCIA: No sumergir el cortapelo en ningún líquido. Cómo cargarlo 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Ponga el interruptor de la unidad principal en posición "O" (apagado). Conecte la toma de corriente del adaptador al enchufe. El indicador luminoso se encenderá rojo cuando la toma esté conectada. La batería se habrá cargado completamente cuando haya estado 8 horas cargándose. Evite recargar la batería durante más de 12 horas seguidas, ésto acortaría la vida útil de la batería. Una vez que se haya cargado la batería, extraiga el adaptador de la toma de corriente. Ponga el interruptor en posición "I" (encendido) para poder utilizar el aparato. Ponga el interruptor en posición "O" (apagado) cuando haya terminado de cortarse el pelo. Cómo utilizar la unidad conectada al cable. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Ponga el interruptor en posición "O" (apagado). Enchufe el adaptador a la toma de corriente y el otro extremo directamente al aparato. Una vez conectada a la toma de corriente se encenderá el indicador luminoso de color rojo. Ponga el interruptor en posición "I" (encendido) para poder utilizar el cortapelo. Ponga el interruptor en posición "O" (apagado) cuando haya acabado de cortarse el pelo, y luego extraiga el cable de la unidad y de la toma de corriente. Peines accesorios de 4, 6, 9 y 12 mm. 1. 2. Para montar un accesorio ponga el interruptor en posición "O" y deslícelo paralelo a la cuchilla. Para quitar el peine accesorio del cortapelos empuje en la dirección indicada con las flechas (Fig. 3). Cortar sin accesorios Corte el pelo colocando el cabezal del cortapelos directamente sobre el pelo (Fig. 4). Puede regular la longitud de corte haciendo girar el selector (5) en dirección a las agujas del reloj para aumentar la longitud y al contrario para disminuirla. Puede seleccionar 5 longitudes diferentes comprendidas entre 0.8 y 2 mm. 6 Montaje y desmontaje de la cuchilla 1. Sujete firmemente el cortapelos y empuje la hoja con el dedo pulgar en la dirección indicada por la flecha (Fig. 2). Mientras hace esto sujete la hoja con la otra mano. Asegúrese de que el interruptor está en posición "O" antes de intentar quitar la hoja. Para volver a montar la hoja, encaje el gancho de soporte en la montura de la hoja sobre el cuerpo del cortapelos y empújelo hasta que haga "clic" (Fig. 5). 2. Duración de la cuchilla y la batería El tiempo de vida de la cuchilla variará según la frecuencia y tiempo de uso. La duración de las cuchillas se estima que puede llegar a durar 6 años, si utiliza el cortapelos dos veces al mes durante 20 minutos cada vez. Si se reduce sustancialmente la eficacia del cortado, a pesar de un mantenimiento adecuado, implica que las cuchillas han superado su tiempo de vida y hay que cambiarlas. El tiempo de vida de la batería variará según la frecuencia y tiempo de uso. Si se carga la batería 3 veces al mes, el tiempo de vida será de aproximadamente 6 años. Si se deja la unidad más de seis meses sin cargar, la batería perderá su carga y su tiempo de vida se puede reducir. Por ello, incluso cuando no se usa de forma regular, se recomienda recargar la unidad al menos cada seis meses. Coloque el interruptor en posición "O" (apagado) y desenchufe la unidad de la corriente. Extraiga la cuchilla. Coja la cuchilla del cortapelo y saque la parte superior de la cuchilla del conjunto. (Fig. 2) Por favor, tenga cuidado con la cuchilla ya que le puede cortar. Use el cepillo de limpieza para limpiar la cuchilla y la unidad (Figs. 6, 7 y 8). Añada aceite en las partes marcadas con una punta de flecha (Fig. 9). Coloque la cuchilla. Please, use the supplied oil or other suitable oils. The oil supplied with the hair clippers is only for use with this blade, and is not suitable for any other purpose. Do not charge or use the appliance at temperatures under 0 ºC or over 40 ºC. Do not charge the battery in direct sunlight or close to a radiant heat source. Do not charge, use or put the hair clippers in cold and humid places, or in places at high temperatures. Do not leave the hair clippers to charge unattended. The charging light will turn red when it has been plugged in. The battery will be fully charged when it has been charging for 8 hours. Avoid recharging the battery for more than 12 hours, as this will shorten its useful life. Once the battery has been charged, remove the adaptor from the mains socket. Turn the switch to "I" (on) to use the appliance. Turn the switch to "O" (off) when you have finished using the appliance. How to use the appliance connected to the cable. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Turn the switch to "O" (off). Plug the adaptor into the mains socket and the other end directly into the appliance. The red light will come on when it has been plugged into the mains socket. Turn the switch to "I" (on) to use the hair clippers. Turn the switch to "O" (off) when you have finished using the appliance, and then remove the cable from the appliance and from the mains socket. 4, 6, 9 and 12 mm accessory combs. 1. 2. To assemble and accessory, turn the switch to "O" and slide it parallel to the blade. To remove the hair clippers' accessory comb, push it in the direction indicated by the arrows (Fig. 3). Cutting without accessories Cut the hair placing the hair clippers head directly on the hair (Fig. 4). You can adjust the cutting length turning the knob (5) clockwise to increase the length and anticlockwise to reduce it. You can select 5 different lengths from 0.8 to 2 mm. Assembling and disassembling the blade 1. Hold the hair clippers firmly and push the blade with your thumb in the direction indicated by the arrow (Fig. 2). Whilst doing so, hold the blade with the other hand. Make sure that the switch is turned to "O" before attempting to remove the blade. To reassemble the blade, insert the support catch into the blade holder on the hair clippers and push it until it clicks (Fig. 5). 2. 8 Blade and battery life The useful life of the blade will vary depending on the frequency and time of use. The estimated life of the blades is 6 years, if the hair clippers are used twice a month for 20 minutes each time. If cutting is considerably less efficient, in spite of proper maintenance, it means that the blades have exceeded their useful life and need to be replaced.
